Nell'estate 2008, alcuni musicisti della Val Gardena si sono messi insieme per lavorare su uno stile musicale ancora poco conosciuto in Alto Adige,
il symphonic metal. Dopo un lungo periodo di prove è nata la prima composizione, Butterfly Child, alla quale sono seguite altre che hanno portato il gruppo fino alle semifinali dell'International Live Award a Vienna. I Phantom stanno pianificando l'incisione del loro primo disco.

Es war im Sommer 2008, als einige Musiker aus Gröden sich zu einer Band zusammenschlossen, um sich in einen in Südtirol noch nicht so bekannten Musikstil vorzuwagen. Nach ausgiebigen Proben entstanden ihre erste Single "Butterfly Child" und später noch weitere Eigenkompositionen, die der Band den Einzug ins Halbfinale des International Live Award in Wien ermöglichten. Phantom planen demnächst ihre erste Studio-CD.

It was summer 2008 when a couple of musicians from Val Gardena came together to work with a new music style that is yet quite unknown in South Tyrol. Their first single, Butterfly Child, was born after many rehearsals. Thereafter, many other songs were created that catapulted them even to the semifinals of the International Live Award in Vienna. The band Phantom is planning to record its first CD.
